Rick Ross Partners With JetDoc To Offer $1 Million In Free Doctor Visits

Rick Ross has teamed up with JetDoc Founder Tommy Duncan to launch the “Give the Gift of Health” campaign to help marginalized communities access adequate health resources. Through this campaign, the duo will offer $1 million free doctor visits to Georgia residents.

“Today brings an important milestone for Jetdoc and more importantly Georgians,” Duncan stated.

We truly believe healthcare is a lifestyle, so we spent the past year breaking down every possible barrier to provide our users immediate access to a diverse network of doctors, dentists, ob-gyns, and more. With a free doctor visit – we hope our mission to Give the Gift of Health will be contagious, so we look forward to serving our communities across the state."

This campaign has the potential to aid a number of Black Americans around the country who have suffered during the COVID-19 pandemic without proper access to healthcare. A recent study from the Kaiser Family Foundation and The Undefeated found that 25% of Black Americans found it difficult to find healthcare a convenient location. Adding on, the study found that 48% of Black Americans had issues finding healthcare that they could afford. JetDoc strives to solve both of those issues by connecting users with medical professionals virtually for $10 per month.

Rick Ross has played an important role in promoting the platform. In November, he joined the company as an investor and a spokesman.

“As an active artist and businessman, I often don’t have time to see a doctor. I’d make excuses and prioritize my healthcare second to my hustle,” he said.

“Jetdoc is a convenient and affordable alternative to going into a doctor’s office. To me, it’s really the future of healthcare. I wanted to be a part of empowering people to take control of their health regardless of their circumstances. Jetdoc puts the power of managing our health into our own hands.”
