Second Stimulus Check: Find Out Exactly How Much You Personally Will Get

The second stimulus check is finally happening. In possibly as little as a week, direct payments will start going out to millions of Americans. The second check will be very similar to the first stimulus check in its distribution, but not in its amount. Unlike the first direct payment, which was for $1,200, this latest one will be for just $600. However, like that first check, adults earning less than $75,000 will receive the full amount, with payments tapering off depending on how much more than $75,000 you make. Dependents under the age of 17 are also eligible for $600.

There are a lot of numbers to keep track of and it might be confusing for some to understand exactly how much they or their household might be getting. Thankfully, Omni has created an online calculator that lets you input your salary, filing status and number of dependents to see exactly how much you should expect. As for when that money might arrive, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin told CNBC that he expects the government will "get the money out by the beginning of next week."
