When Eddie Murphy returns toSaturday Night Livefor the first time in nearly 35 years this weekend, he won't be coming alone: He'll be bringing all 10 of his kids. "My kids have all flown in for this, they’re all flying out. So they’ll watch it,” 50-year-old Murphy told Al Roker on Thursday's TODAY. Murphy and fiancée Paige Butcher recently welcomed their second child together, baby Max, who joins 3-year-old Izzy Oona. Murphy shares 30-year-old Bria, 27-year-old Miles, 25-year-old Shayne, 19-year-old Zola, and 17-year-old Bella with ex-wife Nicole Murphy. He also shares son 30-year-old Eric with Paulette McNeely and 29-year-old son Christian with Tamera Hood, while Spice Girl Mel B is the mother of Eddie’s 12-year-old daughter, Angel. Murphy says he wants to make sure hisSNLreturn goes smoothly. “I really, really want it to be right,” he told Roker, saying he doesn't want people to think afterwards, "I thought he was going to be much funnier than this." The comedian also hinted at the characters he may break out this weekend: "We’re talking about a Gumby thing, and a Buckwheat thing and a Bill Cosby thing maybe--it would be very funny. I don’t know if he would think it was funny--Mr. Robinson, Velvet Jones,” he said. “I’m down for whatever, as long as it’s really, really funny.” Lizzo will be the musical guest for this weekend's show.
